TV is a sin! You can watch anything at any time on them now! Sure if my parents had a relationship with God they’d care more about controlling the television or get a Christian television network, right? I can’t blame them though, they don’t frantically search for temptation when the power button lingers so near. When it comes down to it sin is a choice; a choice only the chooser may choose. No one else can directly influence that choice. What decides the decision? The past. The past days, months and years influence the choice. What people said to the person, what the person did about a situation…everything can influence someone in some way. The greatest influence is God (or it should be). If we could just throw off all this stupid crap this world piles on us (ourselves included) then we could actively worship God the way we and he wants. But, instead we think, “we’ll talk tomorrow”, or, “it’s 2:00 am, I can’t talk right now!” Thoughts go on paper, but God writes on the heart, but he can’t write without a pencil; that is, until you give him control.
