What’s The Point? Great! Another test to study for. Why? I’m just going to stress out until I take it, and I’ll probably fail anyway. Why can’t we just do what God wants and worship and win hearts for him? The world has created a trap for us Christians. Our parents are encouraged to send their children to school (it’s against the law not to!), send them to college and ultimately “better this world” through their education. Why not just send them to learn basic skills and K-5 and introduce them to God? Sure we may not understand God as fifth graders, but if we want more we can go to a Christian school if intrigued or we can decide to continue along with the secular world. Options are the lever on the toilet of knowledge. With less decisions you can make a better choice quicker. Go to school or don’t, buy this or don’t, follow God or Satan. We segregate our spiritual, physical, and emotional lives when in truth they all coincide with one another equally. Really, everything we own and care about (material wise) is just like icing on a molded cake. Sure it looks good, but eat it and you’ll get sick. We want this or have that, but do we really need it? Ask anyone if there’s a problem with world hunger or not enough of some mineral or ore, they’ll say, “duh!” I think if we all asked one simple question, “Can I use this to serve God’s purpose?”, then we’d find we had a lot less we need and have a lot more to give. I mean let’s face it, everyone loves gifts. Whether it’s getting or giving, we love anything free. God has given us many gifts. One of those gifts in his son. You’ve heard enough of that story to make someone believe you were there, but remember that you may be or are a father or mother and if you have kids just imagine giving one of them to your enemy. Another gift God has given us is his love and his countless promises to be with us and help us through any and all hard-ships. To me that is wonderful! Someone who at anytime, anywhere and any place will specifically help overcome and or survive a hardship. Ever heard of any kings doing that, I don’t think so. God’s gifts are real. He has given them because he loves us. Why don’t we give a little back? Don’t we owe him at the very least our hearts? But, why believe me? I mean the whole reason I wrote this is to make you feel guilty, right? Oh, you’re a sinner and you suck, and you owe God so much; you’ll never get to pay him back! Isn’t that a blunt summary to my paper? It sure is. I just dressed mine up to impress you with my English skills. What’s the point? Why? How could I insult you? All these options, questions, feelings…Why put up with life!? This is the point where someone without Love commits suicide. They get so confused they loose their desire to live. I don’t because I know a simple truth. GOD IS REAL. I’ve seen him work, I’ve heard his choice, I’ve felt his presence. When all my desires, and wants run dry, God fills me up with himself! Love is my gasoline. I’m refueled before I even think I need it. I realize the debt I owe him, but I pay what he’ll help me to! And, that is the point!
